Winter Season - Bell Attendant

Job Description
- Acting as doorman, greeting anyone coming into the hotel and assisting with carrying skis/snowboards, luggage, answering questions and requests.
- Driving Guests safely within the village based on requests and availability.
- Liaising with Front Desk to ensure readiness for arrivals.
- Offering luggage assistance and deliver guest luggage to the room upon arrival.
- Retrieving luggage from the guest room for departures.
- Storing and keeping track of guest luggage.
- Handling luggage courier service requests.
- Delivering items to rooms upon request.
- Picking up and dropping off Guests at the Welcome Center bus stop next to Skye Niseko.
- Manage car parking control and help clear snow off vehicles.
- Assisting Ski Valet and Driver positions and other tasks within the hotel when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Must hold a valid Japanese Driver’s Licence or International Drivers Permit.
- Passionate about hospitality service and have a great smile.
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Team player who is physically fit and likes to be active.
- English is a must, and ability to speak a second language (in particular Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Thai) is a plus.
Job Particulars
Pay Rate
- ¥1,450 - ¥1,700 per hour.
- 25% overtime allowance for hours worked above prescribed working hours for the month.
- 25% late night allowance for work between 10pm and 5am.
Employment Period
- 25 November 2024 - 24 Mar OR 31 Mar 2025.
- Fully paid training at the start of the season.
Hours
- Generally 5 days per week, around 40 hours per week.
- Hours will vary through the season depending on business levels with less hours at the start and end of the season and occasional overtime during peak periods.
