Q&A: Nilo on Skye Niseko and the Niseko Classic
We catch up with Koizumi Nilo, an acclaimed guitarist and singer who spends her time-off on the tarmac seeking the adrenaline rush of the peleton.
This past weekend Nilo, as she's affectionately known, traded the sounds of her acoustic guitar for the grit and whir of her bicycle as she competed in the Niseko Classic. We sat down with Nilo at Skye Niseko to find out what she loved about her stay.

Did you eat at in-house Kumo Restaurant?
I ate breakfast every morning at Kumo during my stay and ate there once for dinner. The restaurant staff provided excellent service and I talked with the waiter every morning. It was a great way to start the day! The fresh baked bread was so delicious I immediately recommended it to my friends on Instagram. Kumo also opened early on the morning of the Niseko Classic so myself and the other riders could have our breakfast before the race.
